Join us on Thursday 17th September for an evening of live music, good vibes and plenty of talent with Phil Holbird hosting the night.

Whether you’re a musician, a singer, or just fancy a great night out — everyone is welcome! 🎸✨

Not feeling brave enough for the stage? No worries — come along as part of the audience, grab a drink, relax and enjoy the performances. You can even get some climbing in while you listen! 🧗‍♀️
(Climbing charges apply as usual.)

Looking for a sport where your child can build confidence, stay active and have fun? 🧗‍♀️✨

Climbing is a brilliant sport for children because it helps develop:

🌱 Confidence & resilience – learning that challenges can be overcome one move at a time
🧠 Problem solving skills – every climb is a puzzle to figure out
💪 Strength, coordination & body awareness – while having fun without it feeling like exercise
😊 Independence & self-belief – celebrating personal progress at their own pace

Climbing can be especially great for children who find traditional team sports tricky or overwhelming. There’s no pressure to be the fastest, strongest or loudest — every child can focus on their own goals in a supportive environment.

At Golden Gecko, we run after-school youth climbing clubs and home education climbing groups, giving children the chance to learn new skills, make friends and discover a sport they love. 🦎
