Join us for a FREE taster session at Ross Rowing Club on 19th & 20th September, 10am–12pm.

No experience needed – we’ll introduce you to the basics on the ergs and, weather permitting, get you out on the water in stable boats alongside experienced rowers.

🚣‍♀️ UPTON BEGINNERS REGATTA 🚣‍♂️

What a day for our L2R crews! 💙

Our men’s crew lined up for their first ever race, having never raced or rowed together before — and some had only met that morning! A mixed Ross, & crew who took on 5 races and gave it everything. 👏

The ladies, meanwhile, were UNDEFEATED 🔥
5 races,5 wins, and a pot coming home to Ross!🏆

🌊 Penarth Regatta 2026 🚣‍♀️

A day out at the seaside for Ross Rowing Club! 🌊☀️

Lots more water than we’re used to back home, a brilliant atmosphere, and plenty of racing made for a fantastic day out. Ross definitely made their mark, taking over a large part of the beach and bringing home plenty of cups 🏆

A huge well done to everyone who raced, supported, coxed and cheered from the sidelines — another brilliant day for the club! ❤️💛

A different Bank Holiday to what we were hoping for, but a successful one nonetheless! 🚣‍♀️💙

The Bank Holiday weekend should have seen us hosting our very own Ross Regatta, but unfortunately, due to low water levels, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel.

Instead, a few of our members headed over to Gloucester Regatta for a brilliant weekend of racing, with some great performances and plenty of club spirit along the way! 💪🏼

A huge well done to everyone who raced and represented Ross Rowing Club, and a big thank you to Gloucester for putting on a fantastic regatta! 👏🏼

It is with regret and disappointment that we have to inform you that Ross Regatta 2026 is cancelled.

This decision has been made due to the exceptionally low water level in the River
Wye, and the lack of any significant rainfall predicted over the next two weeks.

The Regatta Committee has looked into every possibility to hold the regatta in some shape or form, but with the low water level and no significant rainfall forecast, it would be unsafe for us to allow competition on such a small amount of water.

We appreciate that this is not news you wanted to hear, but cancelling at this stage allows you all to make alternative plans for the August Bank Holiday weekend. We will ensure that any entry fees paid are refunded.

We are sorry to disappoint, and look forward to seeing you on the water for the Ross
Regatta, August Bank Holiday weekend, 2027.

Ross Regatta 2026

Sunday 30th August – Monday 31st August

Entries are OPEN for Ross Regatta 2026. Filling up fast on BROE, so get your crews together! Day Tickets available. Entries close Thursday 20th August, or sooner if we reach capacity.

We’ll be racing over 650m, downstream on the deep water, to just below the A40 bridge. With the usual range of events for all ages from Juniors to Masters, including low CRI and 4x+ and 4+ in RRC committee boats for L2R, there’s something for everyone! Regrettably no 8s this year.

Make a weekend of it with riverside camping on our expansive meadows, bars, tea-tent, BBQ, evening food… And not forgetting the Ross Lions Duck Race, 5pm Sunday!

Another fantastic in house Regatta🏆🚣

A brilliant morning at our Picnic Regatta!
Mixed crews, plenty of close racing, lots of laughs and a bacon Roll to finish – a great reminder of what Ross Rowing Club is all about. 🚣🧺

A huge thank you to our Team Captains of the event Chris & Andy, Vice Captains Buffy & Lisa, our umpires, caterers, and everyone who helped make the morning such a success.

Congratulations to Chris & Buffy on winning the revived Captains’ Mixed 2x Challenge Trophy, back for the first time in 11 years! 🏆

Now it’s time to turn our attention to the main event… less than a month to go until Ross Regatta over the August Bank Holiday weekend! 🙌💙❤️

🏆 Bewdley Regatta 2026 🏆

Another fantastic weekend of racing for Ross!

A huge well done to everyone who represented Ross Rowing Club at Bewdley Regatta, and congratulations to our seven medal-winning crews. 🥇👏

The club spirit, encouragement and support throughout the weekend were incredible , making it a brilliant event both on and off the water. Whether racing, umpiring or cheering from the bank, everyone played their part in making the weekend such a success.

A big thank you to Bewdley Rowing Club and all the volunteers for hosting another fantastic regatta.
