Just a little reminder that there is NO Little Movers class this Saturday 💃🕺

I’m taking a very important weekend off to recover from my Dirty Dancing vs Grease bottomless dinner 😂🍹🎶

Don’t worry, I’ll be back in action next week, fully recovered (hopefully!) and ready to dance, wiggle and make lots of noise with you all! 💃✨

👋🏼 NEW FOLLOWERS… HI! LET’S REINTRODUCE MYSELF! 💕

There’s been lots of new faces around here lately, so I thought it was probably time I introduced myself properly!

I’m Alexa, mum of two girls 👧🏼👧🏼 and the person behind Little Movers Rotherham! You’ll usually find at least one of my little ones joining me at class… because apparently running a business with two children wasn’t enough of a challenge 😂

We’re currently very much in our princess era 👑✨ and my biggest girl has just started school — so I’m entering a whole new world of school runs, uniforms, homework (already?!), clubs and figuring it all out as I go!

Outside of Little Movers, I LOVE musicals 🎭, going to the theatre, having our friends round and letting the kids run absolutely wild while the adults attempt to have a conversation 😂

I’m also very much a “yes, mix all the Play-Doh colours together” kind of mum… BUT you’re only allowed to play with it at the kitchen table. I have limits. 😂

I’m still figuring out this whole parenting-two-children thing too. Some days we’re absolutely THRIVING… and other days we’re firmly in SURVIVING mode. 🙃

But honestly, that’s what I love about Little Movers too. It’s not about being the perfect parent or having it all together. It’s about getting out, having fun, making memories, meeting other parents and letting our little ones be little. ❤️

✨ We’ve been to Wiggle & Wonder Play cafe in Rotherham town centre today! ✨

What a lovely play session we had! 🥰 There really is a bit of everything for little ones — from the climbing space and building corner, to the dress-up section, pretend-play shop, sensory tray and so much more! 🧱🛝👗🛒

We had such a brilliant time exploring, playing and letting Poppys burn some energy climbing everywhere. 💕 It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for somewhere smaller to keep little ones entertained where you can see them all the time!

✨ DANCER OF THE DAY! ✨
Olivia was our Dancer of the Day at Brinsworth today! 🎉

She brought oodles of energy to class today, there was no stopping her ❤️ she was a total superstar from start to finish, her confidence was through the roof. It was so nice to see her be so comfortable with everything even after having 7 weeks off! 🎉🎉

👏 We are so proud of how well you did and had lots of fun too! Keep shining, superstar! 🌟

Orlaith was our Dancer of the Day at The Brecks this week! 🎉

She burst into her very first class with oodles of energy and a huge smile. She gave everything a go and did a super job!
