The IOC has launched a child athlete rights survey to better understand and meet young athletes’ physical, mental and social needs. This completely anonymous survey explores how training for and participating at an international competition can affect various aspects of a young athlete’s well-being.
The survey is open to anyone who has competed at an international sports competition when they were under 18 years old. The survey is open until 28 February 2024.
The results of the survey will input the development of an “IOC Framework on respecting the Rights of Child Athletes” which will include considerations for NOCs, IFs and the wider Olympic Movement to better safeguard athletes and the elite athlete pathway.

World Championships Marathon Result.
Well done to Sam Morris finishing 39th out of 169 registered starters. Despite having a fall, he managed to rejoin the main pack (which is no mean feat at the pace of this race), finishing in a time of 1h 05m 25s.
This concludes this years worlds. We are really proud of how Sam has performed making 4 out of 4 finals with his highest placings being 2 x 15th places.
