RAIN has four strategic aims:

To provide access to information, training and support to assist the development of agencies offering advice and information and related support and guidance to the public. To influence strategic and policy development in the borough and the region, which has an impact on RAIN and its work. To build the organisations capacity and financial stability. Trustees
A Board of Trustees currently directs RAIN. They include; Elected Members, representatives from a variety of Community and Voluntary Sector organisations, Rotherham MBC’s Neighbourhood and Adult Services, also individuals having a personal interest in supporting the growth and development of RAIN. The individuals provide skills and experience to support a wide range of activities including planning and development, research and financial management.
