Rawmarsh Runstars are bringing some festive fun to the trails with our 1 MILE REINDEER DASH – perfect for adults and children who fancy a Christmas adventure! 🎅🎄

📅 Saturday 12th December
⏰ 10am
📍 Birchwoods – across from Rawmarsh Recycling Centre
💷 £5 per person

Expect plenty of mud, laughs and festive cheer, with:

🦌 A reindeer to chase!
🏅 A finishing memento
☕ Hot chocolate & festive treats
🎄 A fully marshalled, traffic-free trail
🥾 LOTS of muddy fun!

🏃 5K fun run on the trails
💷 £7 per person
👨‍👩‍👧 Open to adults and children – children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult

Expect mud, laughs and plenty of Christmas cheer as you chase the reindeer all the way to the finish! 🦌💨

🎅 Fancy dress is encouraged – Santa hats, elves, reindeer, Christmas jumpers… the more festive the better!

Today we say a final goodbye to one of our own, Darren Stephen Harris. An incredible member of the running community, well known, liked and respected by all that knew him. Never scared of taking on a challenge. His fun, friendly and supportive nature is what everyone loved about him. His love and devotion to his wife Sarah and granddaughter Jazz was unwavering but was nothing short of normal for Darren. Always happy to help out when he could particularly with Rosehill Victoria junior parkrun where he regularly volunteered. He encouraged and supported so many of our young runners and was a huge inspiration to Jazz.
Darren's race on earth may well have come to an end but his journey hasn't ended. His legacy will continue on and be remembered for many many years to come through his family and friends.

Rawmarsh Runners' popular C25K course starts Tuesday 1st September at 6:00pm in Rosehill Park!

Always wanted to start running? Had some time away and looking to get back into it? This friendly, supportive course is the perfect way to build your fitness at your own pace.

💚 No experience needed
💗 Friendly, welcoming group
👟 Run, jog or walk – we'll support you every step of the way

Families are welcome too! Children aged 8+ can take part when accompanied by an adult, and our route is suitable for prams and children on manual scooters, making it a great way to get active together.

Come along, make new friends, improve your fitness and discover that running really is for everyone.
