Wow it was a cold one today 🥶 but the lads powered through and played some quality football ⚽️ We started brilliantly and dominated the game as a whole but just could not turn great chances in to goals and on other day we could’ve had another 10! We take the three points and now arguably onto the 2 toughest games of the season back to back on the run up to Christmas 🎄

Many may remember we knocked Sheffield FC out of the league cup via penalties earlier on in the season so the lads are looking to replicate the win by picking up the 3 points to keep us at the top of the table ⚽️! Great result today for the u18’s who smash FIVE past Sheffield 6’s firing the main straight to the top of the table 🆙! The lads played unbelievable today and kept the ball superbly and completely controlled the game. The lads needed a big result today to get back to winning ways and we sure made a statement! Main 1 - 2 Wombell FC

The main fall short with a 2-1 defeat. We started with a 4-4-2 formation which led to our 2 central midfielders being overrun in the first half. We changed the formation at half time but the momentum was already showing for wombell with them being 1-0 up at the time. Both goals were conceded through corner kicks into the box and their players wanting to get to it more. Khalid got us a goals back late in the second half with a header at the back post. We put it down as a learning curve and kick up the backside and go again next week.
