Thank you to everyone who came along to our youth presentation yesterday evening and for celebrating all of their achievements with them. Congratulations to all those receiving awards, listed below.
Thank you to Liam Trevaskis for coming along to hand out the awards and for speaking to everyone. To Leicestershire County Cricket Club for their kind donations of signed shirts for our fundraising raffle and for loaning us the Division 2 County Championship Cup to show everyone. Also to Steelbacks In The Community for their donation of a family Steelbacks One Day Cup match ticket for next season.
Lastly, we would like to thank everyone who helped out this summer, Ady Spreadbury for preparing all of our wickets, in what has been a testing year for groundsman. Tom Flowers Cricket Coaching for coaching the teams, Old Cricket Club for working with us to enter an Under 17’s team in the league. Manny, Chris, Jim, Heather, Ben and Rob for umpiring our games, THE HAIR STUDIO for sponsoring our match balls and Zoe Caple for taking care of the bar and Laura for running our All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket.
The youth section of the club has grown this season with teams competing in every age group for the first time. There are plans to extend what we can offer for the 2027 season.
The Wilson Browne Corby & District Youth Cricket League presentation will be held at The Grampian Club in Corby on Thursday 15th October.
