Rothwell Amateur Swimming Club Rothwell Amateur Swimming Club meets every Wednesday (during term time only). We are a friendly non competitve Swimming Club.

We offer quality swimming lessons to anyone over the age of 4 years (subject to availability of appropriate space within the club being available)
The club is run by volunteers and new volunteers are always welcome.

🤩 Come and join us 🤩

We have an exciting opportunity to join the club as welfare officer.

● You will attend online training (around 10 hours in total) to provide you with the knowledge and support to enable you to be able to receive welfare queries and to be able to escalate via Swim Enlgland's process.
● You will monitor the club's dedicated welfare e-mail address (this can be done by an app so no weekly log in necessary)
● You will support with the DBS process for new volunteers and renewals
● You will provide a brief update to the committee for quarterly meetings. This can be via a written note in advance or in person at the meeting

As it is the last session before the holidays, we will be having our traditional end of term fun and floats session tomorrow :)

You all will be aware that England will be playing in the Semi Finals of the World Cup with kick off at 8pm.
To enable as many people as possible to cheer on England, we will be holding our fun and floats session for all swimmers from all groups between 7-7.45pm. This will hopefully mean you can all get back home in time for kick off.

Please can all swimmers arrive with swimming kit on under clothes as the changing rooms are likely to be occupied on arrival.

Come on England.

Due to the hot weather please come prepared for the heat if you are staying to watch as we expect the temperature to be high in the viewing area 🪭🥤
