Thank you to everyone who turned up for the occasion! More photos to follow this week but for now enjoy some the damp match photos 💪

In the meantime check out some stunning photos of the biblical conditions on Thursday Night. Big thank you to Southam for coming across and all the supports for braving the weather.

RUGBY IS BACK!
The long wait is finally over.
Our Men’s Senior Squad took to the field tonight for their first pre-season fixture against Southam.
The result wasn’t the important part — tonight was about taking all the hard work from pre-season training onto the pitch, getting valuable minutes into the squad and playing rugby again. That said, the Gold & Blue came away victorious!
A special thank you to Martin Naylor, who came along expecting to watch the rugby and enjoy a social evening, but answered the call when needed, pulled the whistle from his pocket and stepped up to referee the game.
And what a backdrop for the return of rugby.
As the rain poured, a fantastic crowd cheered from the touchline, thunder rolled and lightning flashed across the distant horizon. But the real stars of the evening were on the pitch, with both squads producing a fully committed and competitive performance.
After the long wait, it was simply great to see players back on the field and supporters back on the touchline.
Rugby was definitely the winner.
The Gold & Blue are back.

Jessica’s Promise is a charity founded to honour the memory of Jessica, who was passionate about playing rugby and watching football. The charity’s mission is to encourage children new to sport and support those already enjoying sporting activities. Jessica was a committed sportswoman who relished the competitiveness of matches and valued the friendships made through team sports.
We are dedicated to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing among all children and young people. By encouraging sport participation, as Jessica did, we aim to help children find enjoyment and create lasting memories. Honouring Jessica’s legacy enables us to share the happiness she experienced through her sporting pursuits.
We are a not-for-profit charity and all donations and fundraising efforts directly benefit children and young people. Our founders and trustees volunteer their time in memory of Jessica. Our main event is the annual fundraiser, ‘JessFest’, held on Jessica’s birthday weekend, where we come together to remember her.
Any children or young people who want to play sports.
We provide support for Clubs with team sponsorship, provide holiday activities for children from 5 – 11 years old. We have also provided appropriate kits and footwear for secondary school pupils. We also are honoured to support children and young people in financial hardship, where sport is not the priority within the household, we want to encourage sports opportunities for all – this is always confidential.
Support is provided strictly on recommendation from professionals, teachers and school staff, sports club coaches and other charities.
Applying for support is straightforward—simply send an email using our ‘Get in Touch’ page to contact us.
