Deep dive into Zumba 🥰
Is cardio exercise a waste of time? 🙀
Many fitness professionals say that cardio is not as effective as other types of exercise 🙀
As a personal trainer, I strongly disagree ☝️👩
This is what cardio can do for you: 👇🤩
✅ Cardio provides aerobic (moving, jumping, twirling) and anaerobic (when you hold positions) exercise.
😮 Did you know? Zumba is cardio exercise bursting with movement and is incredibly effective interval exercise.
✅ Cardio Improves flexibility which is great for prevention of injury. It also speeds up the time it takes for your muscles to heal after a workout and sooths joint pain and pain from past injuries.
😮 Did you know? Zumba is cardio exercise excellent for 'off' day when you are recovering from weightlifting or running.
✅ Cardio strengthens both upper and lower body and improves coordination and stability.
😮 Did you know? Zumba is cardio exercise class that will make you engage muscles that are really hard to target in other types of workouts.
✅ Cardio class kills calories all while having fun.
😮 Did you know? A medium intensity 60 minute Zumba class is cardio exercise that burns up to 900 calories.

HOME MADE ISOTONIC DRINK 🥤😎🧊
Another hot day in UK 🔥🥵
While drinking water in hot weather is essential, it is important to not flush out all the minerals from your body as this can be equally if not more dangerous then dehydration.
To avoid this, you can make delicious home made isotonic drink.
Ingredients:
1. pinch of sea salt 🧂
2. lemon juice (as much as you like)🍋
3. honey (tea spoon or two..) 🍯
Oprional: cucumber slices 🥒
Mix all ingredients with 250ml water and enjoy throughout the day 🥤😎
Keep to shade and avoid strenuous exercise, unless of course this is your favourite weather and you handle it well, in which case homemade isotonic drink is perfect companion 😀 👍

Big, HUGE, MASSIVE announcement 📣
As I mentioned in my new year's post it has been a very testing and challenging stretch for me, well practically since covid started. It has been a rough journey but I'm finally ready to accept what is and ready to talk about it.
Many of you already know, but for those who don't, long story short, between two lock downs I was bullied at work to the point I quit just before second lock down.
What followed was financial crisis, isolation and trying to process it all which messed up my mental health. In process of healing that with antidepressants, my physical health took dip as well.
I know now what I was experiencing is called fibromyalgia. I didn't know that then and I was still pushing and breaking my body relentlessly. I wasn't sleeping well.
In meantime we had to move flat as ours rented one was being sold. So we moved twice within a year not with little struggle in finding new place as we own a cat.
Finally with massive help of friends we bought our own place. Day before big move I found out that I was pregnant.
So we arranged kids bedroom as well in our new place.
However, destiny had different plans and couple of months later, I wasn't pregnant any more.
I was tired, exhausted really, quite lost at what to next. And my health went even worse.
Finally I managed to get a gp to refer me to a rheumatologist and end of January I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
At least now I knew better than to push my body relentlessly.
So past few months I've indulged in something relaxing and something I've done way before I decided to master fitness industry.

Making breakfast 😍
My absolute favourite is yoghurt soaked porridge (not even overnight, just 15-20 minutes while i do my morning stretches) I love the crunchy powdery taste 🥰
But to make it absolute amazing I make stash of mixed milled seeds and nuts. I mill pumpkin and sunflower with goji berries in my blender to make sure they are fresh and keeping the most of the nutrients.
The only thing I buy milled already is flex seed as that one is impossible to mill with regular household blenders, and if it is whole, it doesn't get absorbed and just passes through our body undigested, basically we just p**p it 😅🤭
I add one to two teaspoons to my porridge bowl 🥰
