Steeple Morden Bowls Club

It was a close game but the Stan Izzard Trophy 2026 was won by this team of merry bowlers.....thanks for the tea and biscuits ladies and we'll played to the runner ups

The sun is scheduled to be shining and the reasonably priced bar will be open as we look forward to our "Stan Izzard Trophy" afternoon on Saturday 13th of June,.

All members are welcome to play and all others are welcome to come along and support.

What a wonderful open day yesterday. It was great to see so many new faces as people came and tried their hand at bowls.

The weather was kind to us and the odd shower just gave us the opportunity to enjoy the tea and cakes that were provided.....Huge thank you for that to the Ladies (and the odd Gent)

We were very pleased to promote our sport and our club and were also very pleased to welcome our new members.

Of particular note was the comraderie amongst club members and the delight in helping new people of all ages who came along.
