For Play Safe 2024, we’re asking everyone to know their role in safeguarding.

This means no matter what role you have in football, you know your role and responsibility in making it a safe space for all.

Message from Player Registrations

As our first round of cup fixtures have been set, can we please remind you on the League rules concerning players’ eligibility:

Cup Competition Rules 2 ( C )
All Players in Cup Competitions must be registered playing Members of their Club in accordance with League Rule 18.

Players must have been registered at least seven (7) days prior to the match and, in the case of the Semi-Final and Final ties, have played in a minimum of three League fixtures (including League Cup) for their Club in that Season.

The only exception to this is in Development Leagues where Players are only required to have been registered with their Club for seven (7) days prior to the match. In the event of the game being abandoned or a postponement being required, only those players eligible at the date of the first game shall be eligible to play.

The FA Disciplinary Department have released this years Disciplinary Guide and Sanction Guidelines.

Whilst we will be publishing these on our website and through Social Media, I would encourage you to circulate these to your members, Players, Managers, Clubs and publish on your own social media channels so everyone is fully aware of the process and sanction guidelines for this season.
