Tonight is a very proud moment for the club and a sign of how far we’ve come over the last few seasons. This evening we see our 3rd team take on Huntingdon rangers b in there first ever game as a new team. Under the watchful eyes of gaffer and Sam “ the machine“ Brasher.

The game is 6:30 kick off at sapley playing fields in Huntingdon so if you are about go and have a watch , support the team, the club and see what fantastic young talent we have on show. Rumour even has it that Mr chairman himself may even be making an appearance on the pitch

Euk 1sts 💙 v MVSCC ( Whatever the f**k that means )

After what seems like forever we finally got the text we’ve all been waiting for from the gaffer Aaron Tyler “is it normal to have grapes on your bumhole “ & “ are you available for a friendly 😍”

Needless to say the team was stacked with chubby ballers , massive stoners and a few that hadn’t gone to bed yet one with some rather pungent fingers 🤤 🐟 and a few new faces.

The game started abysmally with the opposition coming out strong and quite frankly dominating us for the first 9 minutes and 23 seconds. Even taking the lead with a lucky goal after a brilliant block from veteran defender James Edward Bird who made 3 crucial tackles / blocks in the space of a minute only for it to defelect off his massive ... feet 👀 on to there striker.

The wake up call we needed. As the ball hit the back of the onion bag the gaffer gave us a look to say carry on and your in trouble.

1-0 down we decided to work harder and play better creating multiple clear cut chances through exceptional passes from the dynamic duo of Rhys Webb & Adam Green. Unfortunately our striker decided he didn’t fancy scoring 🤦🏽‍♂️😂 that was until he’d missed 4 and took the peno to make it 1-1. Onlookers describing it as a “ masterpiece “ & “a lesson in penalty taking “ i personally think he got lucky 🎣 nonetheless Loris Esmel made it 1-1 💙

As the first half developed we grew stronger and stronger and despite the opposition having 2 very good players in the middle the work rate of Mr worldwide 🌎 and the back four of James bird , Dwayne “the foot 🦶 “ Wilkins , Damean Rogerson and Antonio “ the hairdo “ Ercole kept there chances to a minimum. The beast and new captain Matt Esmeralda Heys only needing to enter the striker 🍆 🍑 💦 a couple of times . As the first half drew to a close a fantastic bit of play from the 💙 saw us string multiple passes , some were even intentional , together. The ball bouncing around in the box fell to Ashley Bushnell aka Battenburg aka army ash aka Ash who absolutely leathers the old pig skin into the onion bag with his right foot nobody more surprised than the Battenburg himself. Not knowing what to do he tried a backflip celebration which didn’t end well but it’s the thought that counts right ? 2-1

Half time
The gaffer scratching and I quote “ his vinegary balls “ was full of praise despite our shaky start and after a few tweaks and private instructions sent the boys back out with a spring In there step and a taste of salt and vinegar crisps .

Early on the opposition come on strong and got an early goal again nothing special tbh. 2-2 one of their supporters who was literally an advert for not sh****ng your own sister heard saying there s**t let’s batter them now 🤥

Up steps the bearded assassin who picked up the ball at cm cuts onto his right , having flashbacks of his conversation with the gaffer at half time “ send the ball home adam , shoot “ hits it on the valve. ( if you know ... you know ) with more bend than a night out in Brighton hits the back of the net. 3-2

The game was tense both teams attacking with our own sonic the hedgehog creating a few good chances to no avail.

Up steps Rhys Webb the magician who mugs off multiple defenders on the edge of the box and lobs the goal keeper to make it 4-2 the whole crowd of 8 all on there feet in applause 👏

A special shout out to Tom Brignell who come on to help despite only turning up to watch and played a blinder at cb. 😂

Moment of the game

Mr 305 🌎 picking the ball up and beating not 1 not 2 not even 3 but four men in the box and delivering a blinding cross back post for Rhys Webb to miss obviously otherwise it would have been 5-2 but what’s rarer than pig flying Shane cox in the opposition box 🤪 👏

After a few weeks of turmoil we can now confirm that our new home pitch will be at Cottenham

The gaffer Aaron Tyler and the rest of the committee have been tirelessly working on sorting a new home so we can get back to focusing on pre season and the upcoming season.

If you or anyone you know fancy joining a great club ,full of great lads , great friends and gaining yourself a few new family members 💙 then get in touch.

All abilities are welcome we have two teams ,train regularly and drink 🍺 even more 🤪

We can confirm that our very own James Edward Bird is out of his operation, home and settling in well. Although slightly sore he’s looking absolutely fabulous. Hopefully a speedy recovery is on the cards and we can get him back on the pitch 💙

Happy birthday to two absolute club legends today the midfield magician Tony Leathers & the beast that is Tom Brignell 💙

In what’s been a terrible 2020 the club would like to wish you all a very happy new year !!! 🥳🥳
This year has had its good points though ... when we’ve actually been allowed to play we’ve pulled out some top draw performances seeing off opposition two leagues above , scoring some unbelievable goals, the rebirth of Mr worldwide Shane Worboys-Cox, the gaffers growing of his Thor like Barnet Aaron Tyler , the birth of Future euk legends Adam Green ( thats there children not them btw 😂) , the incredible comeback story of Captain Ashley Rogerson who defied all odds and made a return from arguably the worst connect 4 injury ever seen , the birth of the mighty euk ressies and the lost goes on.

One thing we have never taken for granted is the loyal support of the families , wags and boyfriends that come and support rain or shine it’s very much appreciated !
