Oldham White Tiger Jujitsu - HQ

Oldham White Tiger Jujitsu - HQ White Tiger is the home of Martial Arts. Inspired by the white tiger - a symbol of resilience, courage, and rarity. Why the White Tiger?

Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, join a friendly community, learn self defence or become the next master Martial Artist we can help. White Tiger Warrior Arts was founded on the belief that strength, discipline, and self-expression are at the core of personal growth. We began as a humble community of martial arts enthusiasts passionate about blending traditional techniques with modern approaches. Headed by Craig Connell, whose decades of training and teaching across various martial arts disciplines shaped the vision of White Tiger Warrior Arts. His vision was to create an inclusive space where students of all ages and abilities could explore martial arts not only as a form of self-defence but as a pathway to mental clarity, physical fitness, and inner peace. Since its inception in 2011, White Tiger Warrior Arts has grown into a respected name, known for its expert instructors, dynamic classes, and the supportive camaraderie of its members. Ethos
At White Tiger Warrior Arts, we live by the principles of honour, balance and perseverance.
- Honour: Respect for yourself, your community and the traditions of martial arts.
- Balance: Harmony between mind, body and spirit, recognising that true strength comes from within.
- Perseverance: The courage to overcome challenges and continuously strive for growth, both on and off the mat. Our mission is to empower individuals with the tools to protect themselves, build confidence and lead healthier lives. Whether you’re here to master a martial art, improve your fitness or find a like-minded community, White Tiger Warrior Arts is your place to thrive. The white tiger represents rare strength and beauty. Just as the white tiger adapts to its environment with grace and power, our training equips students to face life’s challenges with skill and determination. We believe that everyone has a warrior spirit within, waiting to be unleashed.

Competition time!

We would like all students to create a piece of art that let us know what Jujitsu means to them.

There will be a prize for best artwork. It’s open to any student of any age group.

Everybody’s art work will be displayed and potentially events outside the club also.

We will look to pick the winner at the end of the month. Please hand all entries into Sensai Craig.

I have had a fantastic weekend. I was invited to Sutton on Sea to be the Uki (the person being thrown) for Stuart Bennett who is part of the East Midlands Ju Jitsu Association (EMJJA). He had been working towards his 3rd Dan black belt.
I would like to extend my thanks for my weekend to Professor John Rake, Sensei Becky, and Sensei Dan for having me as a guest at their Dojo.

Congratulations, Stuart you’ve worked extremely hard and it’s well deserved.
