Wet weather season is coming again.... Digging can re commence.... Had a few issues with idiots digging up jumps and drop offs over the summer... But would not be too much of an issue as the foundations have been laid.... I've a few ideas bouncing around my head... And everything will be built to last years of riding...
It's been a while since I have been around the trails properly due to injury earlier in the year. I spent a couple of hours today clearing some scrub and cutting back some over grown stuff and removing part of a fallen tree from the Fox hill drop.... Pleaseed to see some new work on berms has been started and a nice moto jump started in the centre of the top area.... Some of the new additions are poorly placed but good ideas... It's a shame that someone has flattened the ski ramp on the Fox hill area :-(
. Oh well it'll just get built bigger better and more scary........ :-D
These trails are being built and maintained to provide fun and enjoyment to everyone. Just remember that Mountain biking and BMX are physically demanding sports.
Taking part is also VERY DANGEROUS and at the very least you should always wear some form of head protection and gloves and your bike should be in a well maintained working order.
If you feel that you cannot tackle an obstacle or jump safely then don't attempt to tackle it, wait until a time when your skills and confidence have improved. If however you do attempt to tackle an obstacle and you run out of talent and HURT or INJURE yourself it is YOUR OWN FAULT and nobody else's. Do not flatten or destroy a jump simply because you feel it is dangerous because that is the whole point.
If you don't want to risk getting hurt, take up stamp collecting or stay at home and play X-Box.
Safety tips for Bike riding.
ALWAYS: MAKE SURE YOUR BIKE IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER.
ALWAYS; WEAR MINIMUM SAFETY EQUIPMENT. (HELMET AND GLOVES)
ALWAYS: TELL SOMEBODY WHERE YOU'RE GOING, OR RIDE WITH FRIENDS.
