Great to catch-up with Lee to dial in my bike setup as we really start to ramp up the volume.
Long rides shouldn’t leave you battling knee pain, sore backside, or a screaming lower back. A professional bike fit aligns your body with your bike so every pedal stroke is efficient, comfortable, and sustainable over hours in the saddle.
🚴♂️ More power, less wasted energy🦵 Reduced risk of injury🛣️ Greater comfort on long rides⚡ Improved endurance and performance
It’s not just about riding harder—it’s about riding smarter. Your body will thank you at mile 60… and mile 100 or my case mile 190 once we get rolling in July.
If you’re putting in the miles but ignoring your setup, you’re leaving performance on the table.

New year, new challenge 👀
I've always wanted to learn more about ultra endurance and there is no better way to understand it than put myself through it after being part of so many clients epic journeys on 2wheels.
After years of thinking about it, 2026 is the year I finally step away from mountain bike events to take on something completely different.
In July, me and will be riding LEJOG – Land’s End to John O’Groats in 5 days 🚴♂️
A proper endurance test from one end of the UK to the other.
Training’s been underway since October, laying the foundations early.
Routes are prepared.
Nutrition is planned.
Next up is a fresh bike fit with before the weather improves and the volume starts to ramp up.
Big miles, big days, and a lot of work ahead… but that’s the part I’m most excited about, The process💪🏾
Stay tuned 👊🏾

🎄⚖️ Christmas: The Ultimate Balancing Act ⚖️🎄
Between festive feasts, late nights, family plans, and a calendar that suddenly fills itself… keeping your normal routine can feel almost impossible, especially when it comes to the gym.
But here’s the thing 👇
December is when consistency matters MOST.
✨You don’t need perfect workouts.
✨You don’t need to train harder.
✨You just need to show up when you can. 💪
Staying active during the holidays keeps your energy up, stress down, and helps you head into the New Year feeling strong, not starting from scratch.
So move your body, protect your routine, and enjoy Christmas without letting your progress slide.
More Balance Equals Less Burnout. 🎅✨

This couldn't be more relevant to a topic I preach about on a daily basis..... 🔥
BEHAVIOURAL CONSISTENCY
Consistency >>> changing your behaviours & routines every day or week based on what you see online.
As everyone get’s to the time of year when they are setting goals & new behaviours for 2026 — please read this!
If you can choose a few behaviours and stick with them for the whole year, I can guarantee the effect will be greater than changing routines & behaviours every few weeks.
You are likely better off being truly consistent with your routines, over weeks and months. Aim for steady progressions, and only when progress stalls or if you identify a weakness should you consider adding something in or changing something up.
This isn’t to say your training should be monotonous (a whole other post) - within your routine you should have a variety of stimulus. The same should be said for a diet full of variety!
Think about resistance training; something heavy, something fast, low reps, high reps,
Think about cardiovascular training; something intense & fast, something low and slow, something hard & easy.
People tend to overestimate the acute benefit of something, and underestimate the long-term benefit.
Most don’t even continue with a behaviour long enough to see the true benefit & return.
Our expectations are a linear increase in a benefit, but this likely is not true.
If you are setting goals, stick with them.
