Yesterday was Finals Day at Rugby Thornfield Outdoor Bowls Club. Thanks to everyone who took part, helped with the arrangements or came and cheered the players on. More on the results later. For now just have a look at how awesome the green looks after what has been the driest summer in living memory. Well done to Keith and the green keeping team. Only one more week until the green is put to bed for another season.

Excellent President’s Day at Thornfield today. Overall winner was Graham and winner of the fancy dress competition was Tom Merry (Sgt Pepper). “It’s wonderful to be here, it’s certainly a thrill, you’re such a lovely audience, we’d like to take you home with us, we’d love to take you home….”

Lovely afternoon on Saturday when Rugby Thornfield Outdoor Bowls Club went to visit the Grange. And no need to worry Mary did get her fish and chips. 🐟🍟
