Round of applause for everyone who played this afternoon at Rugby Thornfield Outdoor Bowls Club in the friendly with Burbage Constitutional. It was a fantastic afternoon. The weather was lovely, the green ran well and the tea received lots of compliments. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. 👍

Used, but in good condition. The chairs can stack up to six high. The frames are varnished beech and the fabric is a plum colour. A couple of them have had their fabric scuffed causing a tiny split, but these could be sewn up.

Great evening at Rugby Thornfield Outdoor Bowls Club tonight. It was the annual Odds and Sods club competition. Members randomly put into 12 teams and played three sets of six ends. And it was Ray Pope and Tom Merry who came out on top. Well done guys. 😀👍

Rugby Thornfield Outdoor Bowls Club hosted the Rugby Bowling Association vs the Leicester & District Parks Bowling Association yesterday. Fantastic day. The green ran well and the Rugby bowlers had an excellent result. Well done to Tom Duggins for organising the fixtures.

Great afternoon with our Wolvey friends. Brilliant to see the green so full. So much so that we had to put the markers on ‘red’ the special set up that turns our six rink green into seven rinks. Thanks to everyone who made today’s game happen. Looking forward to seeing the Wolvey guys again when we go to theirs in a few weeks time. 😀😀😀

Most amazing night tonight at Rugby Thornfield Outdoor Bowls Club. Our first ever Bowls Golf. The green was turned in to a crazy golf course. Fortunately there were no divots in the green just a lot of fun. The green jacket goes to Matthew, Liam and Tina. Well done guys. And a massive thank you to the organising team of Karen, Tina, Graham, Rona and John. Next month it’s’ Killer Bowls. Not to be missed. 🤩
