Firstly and as always a big thank you to everyone that joined us on Sunday for our game day - The Lost Patrol.

Some drizzle in the morning cleared away before game on for a really nice day, and as expected we saw some awesome firefights across the site all day so thanks folks.

So then, the scores for Sunday...

Our 2 hour themed morning game The Lost Patrol was scored as follows :

πŸ’₯ Objective 1 : The remaining members of the lost Recon Patrol were held up on Signpost Hill. Teams needed to fight to secure the hill, and keep control of it for as much of the game as possible while the team are debriefed about their failed mission. The zone is scored every 15 mins from game on until 1h 45m for the team that has control of the hill and the missing Recon Patrol. In addition a bonus is awarded for the team that has control of the hill at endex as they will count as the team that successfully evacuated the Recon Patrol.

πŸ”΅ Blues : 3x scored times : 30 Points
πŸ”΄ Reds : 3x Scored times : 30 Points

πŸ”΅ Blue control at endex : 20 Points

πŸ’₯ Objective 2 : There is a medical triage camp set up at the top end of the site (Landy) and every 30 mins from game on until 1h 30m the camp will release a trauma medical kit. Teams need to collect these kits (4 available in total) and use each of them to triage and stabilize one of the remaining wounded members of the lost Recon Patrol on Signpost Hill.

πŸ”΅ Blues : 3x Recon Team saved : 30 Points
πŸ”΄ Reds : 1x Recon Team saved : 10 Points

πŸ’₯ Objective 3 : The Lost Recon Teams original mission was collecting recon data on a militia group set up in the area. When they were attacked their Recon Data Drives were lost and scattered throughout the jungle. Teams need to find the missing drives, take them to one of two SatCom Uplink locations and plug them into the SatCom. Once plugged into a SatCom Uplink a 5 min timer is started and if they can control the Data Drive whilst it finishes uploading, then a successful drive recovery will be scored for that team.

πŸ”΅ Blues : 8x Data Drives uploaded : 80 Points
πŸ”΄ Reds : 5x Data Drives uploaded : 50 Points

πŸ’₯ Objective 4 : Scattered throughout the jungle are a number of Battle Medic kits airdropped into the Recon Team before they were lost. Teams need to search for the kits, and if they find one, that player can open it and put on the Battle Medic band and become a Battle Medic for their team for the rest of the game. In addition if they deposit the empty kit at the Medical Triage Camp before endex it will be scored for that team.

πŸ”΅ Blues : 8x Battle Medic kits recovered : 80 Points
πŸ”΄ Reds : 2x Battle Medic Kits recovered : 20 Points

Final scores :

πŸ”΅ Blues : 240 Points
πŸ”΄ Reds : 110 Points

🟦 Blues win The Lost Patrol. well done Blues!

Afternoon Game 1 : Mortar Strike

πŸ’₯ Each team starts with a Mortar Battery at their starting base. There are 3 fixed re-arming positions between each teams base that is marked by an Purple flag and has a marshal stationed there. Every 5 mins from game-on until endex the marshal at each of these re-arming points will drop a mortar round next to the Purple flag.

The objective of this game is for both teams to push out and try and control as many of the Purple re-arming zones as possible so they can collect mortar rounds as they drop. Teams then need to get those mortar rounds back to their base as quickly as possible. For every mortar round returned they can fire off a mortar from their mortar battery and then pull a coloured token from their 'hit bag'. Red tokens are a Miss and Green tokens are a HIT!
Each hit is radioed to the enemy team base and they suffer a direct hit. Teams score the most hits on the enemy position before endex.

πŸ”΅ Blues : 8x HITS
πŸ”΄ Reds : 8x HITS

πŸŸͺ Draw! Well done both teams!

Afternoon Game 2 - Defend the Bomb (Depot)

πŸ’₯ For this game teams take it in turns to attack and defend a set location, in this instance Depot where there is a detonator located somewhere in the zone, rigged to a pyro blast.
Defenders have limited lives and need to hold off the attackers as long as possible. Attackers have unlimited lives and need to keep pressure on the defenders while they reduce their numbers enough to get into the zone, find the detonator button and set off the blast as quickly as possible.

Fastest attack times :

πŸ”΄ Reds : 6:14 secs
πŸ”΅ Blues : 6:55 secs

πŸŸ₯ Reds win Defend the Bomb, well done Reds!

Well, Blues definitely smashed it in the morning game with a very strong win, and the afternoon was a nice split with Reds and Blues both keeping it as close as possible with the first afternoon game even going to a draw.

Thanks again for everyone that joined us on Sunday folks, as always you were a really decent bunch to marshal and made for a very smooth day.

Game day pics will be posted in the next couple of days (hopefully tomorrow) and our next game day will be Sunday 27th September, so we hope you can join us for that one.

Evening folks. Firstly and as always thanks to everyone that joined us for our game day last Sunday - Ground Zero.

Apologies for the lateness of the game score post and game day pictures this week, its been a busy old week and I'm playing a bit of catch up this weekend.

So then, onto the scores for Sundays games.

Our 2 hour themed morning game Ground Zero was scored as follows :

πŸ’₯ Objective 1 : Teams needed to secure and control the scene of the chemical outbreak - Ground Zero - for as much of the game as possible. Every 15 mins from game on until endex the team that had control of Ground Zero (team flag raised at the center of the zone) would be awarded a chemical canister for their team lockbox located at this zone.

πŸ”΅ Blues : 3x Canisters collected : 30 Points
πŸ”΄ Reds : 4x Canisters collected : 40 Points

πŸ’₯ Objective 2 : As well as Ground Zero, the location of the outbreak, teams also needed to find and secure the source of the chemical canisters used in the attack - The Chemical Lab - and using their teams chemical sample case, collect 3 vital samples before endex to add to their case. Every 15 mins a team hold the Chemical Lab (unbroken) they successfully harvest a chemical sample to add to their case. Unlike Ground zero, these are not awarded every 15 mins to the team in control, but instead can be awarded at any time during the game when a 15 min continuous control is scored.

πŸ”΅ Blues : All 3 samples collected : 45 Points
πŸ”΄ Reds : All 3 samples collected : 45 Points

πŸ’₯ Objective 3 : There was a initial recon team sent into investigate the outbreak prior to the teams arrival, but this team is now MIA. Scattered around the site are sets of yellow dog tags representing the fallen recon team members. If teams can find their tags, they can take them to the teams crashed plane, and trade them for a box of experimental bio weapon ammo. Teams need to get those ammo cases to their teams lockbox at Ground Zero before endex to be scored.

πŸ”΅ Blues : 1x Case of Bio-Ammo recovered : 20 Points
πŸ”΄ Reds : 1x Case of Bio-Ammo recovered : 20 Points

πŸ’₯ Objective 4 : The 3 lead scientists involved in the production of the chemical weapons managed to escape the Chemical Lab after the outbreak, but have since gone missing. Their bodies are somewhere on site, and each body has 2x ID Cards (1x Red and 1x Blue). Teams need to locate the missing scientists, and recover their team colour ID card from each scientist, and return it to their team lockbox at Ground Zero before endex.

πŸ”΅ Blues : 2x Scientist ID Cards recovered : 40 Points
πŸ”΄ Reds : 1x Scientist ID Card recovered : 20 Points

Ground Zero final scores :

πŸ”΅ Blues : 135 Points
πŸ”΄ Reds : 125 Points

🟦 Blues win Ground Zero, well done Blues!

Afternoon Game 1 - Capture the Flag

πŸ’₯ For this game there are 5 control points, each with a Red and Blue changeable flag in situ waiting to be raised.
Both teams need to push and try and capture as many locations as they can and raise their flag at each zone. Once a zone is captured, defending it is also important to try and stop the other team coming in and scoring points by switching the flag to their teams colour, but this game relies more on teams continuing to push contested or enemy controlled zones, as teams only score a point each time they raise their team flag at a zone controlled by the enemy team.

πŸ”΅ Blues : 8x flag captures
πŸ”΄ Reds : 8x flag captures

Attack Times :

πŸ”΄ Reds 1 : 6:12 secs
πŸ”΅ Blues 1 : Void
πŸ”΄ Reds 2 : 5:36 secs
πŸ”΅ Blues 2 : 5:08 secs

🟦 Fastest Time : Blues, well done Blues.

I think its fair to say the games were about as close as it gets in terms of balance and points, but by a whisker Blues took the day.

The morning game couldn't have been closer, and the first afternoon game was a draw, so well done both teams, really nicely played folks πŸ‘Œ.

We are a bit behind this week so game pics will be out in the next 48 hrs, your patience is appreciated folks, thank you.

Our next game day isn't far now, Sunday 13th September so we hope to see you all again for that one.

Until next time folks.

Our next game day is almost here, Sunday 30/08 - Ground Zero.

For this one teams will need to locate and secure Ground Zero, the source of the outbreak. Once they have it, they will need to collect the valuable samples, locate the missing science team, recover the experimental ammo, and finally investigate the abandoned bioweapons lab.

As always gates open at 07:30, briefings start at 09:15 and endex at 16:00.

Evening folks.

On behalf of SIXMIL Ai***ft and West Midlands Ai***ft we'd just like to say a big thanks to everyone that joined us for this year's Purge event on Sunday.

Another amazing turnout and another brilliant Purge event. You were all an awesome group of Purgers on Sunday, and we hope you all enjoyed the day as much as we did hosting it.

As usual, there were some crazy and quite often hilarious antics taking place on Sunday amongst the firefights, and it was great to see you all getting into the event in the way it's intended... Big Ai***ft battles, with plenty of tongue and cheek humour thrown into the mix.

A special thank you to all the NPCs and extras that got involved to make sure the event was filled with plenty to keep you all busy and entertained all day. James and Phil (Hector and Yuri) and of course your team of *cough "elite" bodyguards πŸ˜„, Shane our awesome Arena Master, and your team of arena guards and Mercs, and all the other guys that helped us make the event run as smoothly as it did.

Well done to our prize winners, and of course to all the awesome Purge Gangs for smashing those missions, owning the Arena, and getting stuck into some epic firefights all over the site.

Event pics will be posted later in the week, but until then, from myself and Paul thanks again for making The Purge 2026 such an entertaining day.

Until next time folks.
