DAYNE
Dayne hasnāt been doing CrossFit for that long, but heās picked it up incredibly quickly.
Coming from a strong sporting and gymnastics background, he already had a really good base of strength, movement and competitiveness. But whatās stood out just as much is how willing heās been to listen, take on feedback and learn.
And thatās where the coaching comes in.
Weāre usually trying to get people to go faster.
With Dayne, itās almost the complete oppositeā¦
Weāre constantly telling him to slow down
Heās competitive, heās strong and he wants to push himself ā which is great. But CrossFit isnāt just about doing everything as fast as possible. Learning when to control a movement, when to conserve energy and when to listen to your coach is a huge part of getting better.
Dayne has taken that on board from the start, and you can already see how quickly heās progressing because of it.
Itās been great watching him go from relatively new to CrossFit to really understanding the movements, the stimulus and how to get the most out of each session.
And rather than us telling you about his experienceā¦
He says it all himself.
