🦊We had a great time teaching yoga workshops to the students at Summer School this week!
The juniors danced to music, played yoga games, traversed a floor of lava and weaved yoga into stories. The seniors learned some balancing poses, created their own mini-flows and we all discovered the power of our breath in helping to calm us while appreciating some rare stillness and quiet.

The theme of this year is Vaudhav kutumbakam, which means 'Earth is my home'. We will be carrying this idea with us through our practice over the next few classes 🦊

🦊 Today we adventured with Yoga Fox by Sylva Fae. Our little Yoga Cubs did wonderfully following each of his poses before ending the class with some calming relaxation and breath work. Great class Cubs!

🦊 Our Yoga Cubs enjoyed being Owls, Mice, Rabbits and even foxes riding bicycles today! In honour of Frederick the Fox's birthday we based our class on this beautiful book by fellow IOW-born .flamingo ❤️
It's wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated. Go and get yourselves a copy!

🦊 We absolutely loved our first class on Saturday! The little cubs did so well for their first lesson. We can't wait for the next one! 🦊
