The Longest Day β Friday 20th June βοΈ
Another magical evening down on the lawn as we watched the sun set on the longest day of the year. The cadets made the most of the light, sailing out the creek and out past the Fairway buoy β a celebration of summer at the Royal Vic. β΅οΈπ
These evenings remind us why being a part of the RVYC is so special β for new and old hands, itβs all part of the rhythm of life at the club.
Hereβs to many more long nights, good sailing, and golden skies! π₯π

A great write-up in Y&Y for the Waszp GP last weekend. Thank you to everyone who worked their socks off to make this happen.
Isle of Wight WASZP GP at Royal Victoria Yacht Club
Nineteen WASZPs converged on the Royal Victoria Yacht Club this weekend for the Isle of Wight WASZP Grand Prix, drawing sailors from as far away as Edinburgh and Cumbria for what turned out to be a weekend of excellent Solent sailing and close racing.

On this day, the 24th May 1845, the Royal Victoria Yacht Club was founded. To celebrate our 180th year, Magnus Wheatley (and others) have put together a series of fun facts and recollections for all members to enjoy over the coming weeks ahead of our Anniversary Regatta that starts on the 28th June.
