The 9th is shaped and soiled over, some turf lifted has been relaid and we’re ready to turf next week.

16th, greenside shaped - LHS bunker removed and replaced with a run-off area. RHS bunker filled and a new one created more centrally beside the green. Fairway bunker filled and new one created 15/20yds further up.

This week we’ve been raking the fairways over to:
- remove dead grass
- control lateral growth
- improve air flow and let light, water and nutrients in
- stand grass up allowing a better cut

Next step will be overseeding.

Tees topdressed with sand and mowing of all areas undertaken through the week.

Next week - green drainage and construction on 9 and 16.

Finally some rain landed on the course this week! As you can see, the 3rd and 13th fairways have started to show signs of life again and green up.
We’ve been mowing the usual areas still - greens/tees/aprons and some fairways, maybe the rough mower will venture out next week… ⛳️🌧️
