For anyone who grew up in the golden age of BMX...

We've just listed this original mid-1980s Mongoose Blue Max on eBay.

This isn't a restored show bike or a reproduction. It's a genuine survivor from the era, still wearing its original chrome, decals and battle scars from the last 40 years. It remains in working order and would make an ideal restoration project, patina rider, or addition to a serious BMX collection.

If you're now at the stage of life where you finally have the garage space, disposable income and opportunity to buy the bike you dreamed about as a kid, this might be worth a look.

The Blue Max was one of the iconic BMXs of the 1980s, and finding honest, unrestored examples is becoming increasingly difficult.

Massive thanks to the local Volunteers of for repairing the damage from the weekend, luckily the sun came out just in time!
Unfortunately the jumps will remain closed for the next couple of days whilst everything packs in and drys out and hopefully be back open for the weekend.

Unfortunately today the Dirt Jumps have suffered some intentional damage leading us to have to take the decision to close them until further notice.

Repairs will be carried out ASAP but as these are hand built by a small group of volunteers, this may be a few days so please bear with us.

To those that use the facility as intended we can only apologise.
