Sue, our absolutely legendary SOSA Administrator, who keeps everything running like she’s secretly got eight extra pairs of hands. We genuinely don’t know what we’d do without her! 💙

And Rhys… our kind of alright Health & Activity Manager. He occasionally has a decent idea, is known to smile from time to time, and somehow manages to keep the team motivated (we’ll give him that! 😉).

In all seriousness, these two represent everything that’s great about our team, dedication, kindness, hard work and always going the extra mile for colleagues and customers alike.

The St Albans and Stevenage Activity and Wellbeing Team took part today in a Visual Impairment (VI) awareness course, learning how to make our sites more accessible, inclusive and VI-friendly for everyone in our community.

The session gave us valuable insight into the support we can offer, small changes that make a big difference, and how we can continue creating welcoming spaces for all abilities.

We’re incredibly proud to be able to offer this support across our St Albans contact and wider services, helping more people feel confident, supported and included in physical activity and wellbeing opportunities.

It may have been an absolute SCORCHER today 🥵☀️… but that didn’t stop Dani and Rhys from powering through a SOSA admin & planning day! 💻🔥

Between the sweat, the snacks, the keyboard tapping and the constant “wait… whose idea was this in this heat?!” moments 😂 - lots got done!

Today was all about looking at how we can continue to support our amazing SOSA members even better, while growing and linking it with our already incredible community outreach programme ❤️🙌

Safe to say… there were plenty of laughs, a LOT of caffeine, and enough sweat to fill a paddling pool 😅💦
