The gorgeously unbothered woman isn’t unbothered because she doesn’t care.
She’s unbothered because she’s so busy loving her life that she doesn’t have the energy to judge, compare, compete, or prove herself.
She knows who she is.
She lets people have their opinions.
She lets people misunderstand her.
She even lets people be wrong about her.
Because her peace is more important than defending herself.
She’s the woman she says she is, not because she talks about it, but because she lives it.
She follows her own path, stays true to her values, and quietly creates a life that lights her up.
The older I get, the more I realise that being gorgeously unbothered is one of life’s greatest gifts. ✨💕

People come into your life. People drift out of it. Some stay for years, some for a season, and a few leave a mark without either of you fully realising it. You’ll have close friends, difficult people, unexpected teachers, and relationships that aren’t what you thought they’d be. Sometimes you’ll crave connection. Sometimes you’ll crave space.
Through all of that, there’s one constant: you.
You’re the only person who is with you for your entire life, so looking after yourself isn’t selfish, in fact it’s sensible.
A quick 3-minute reset
1. Sit quietly and breathe steadily for a minute. Now imagine a central core running through your body from head to below the navel. Let it look however feels right to you - light, metal, mist, water, solid, hollow, wide or narrow.
2. Imagine yourself at the very centre of that core. This is the place where the real you lives.
3. Now let your mind place the people in your life around you. Some may be close. Some may be far away. Don’t force it. Don’t place people where you think they should be. Notice where your mind naturally puts them.
When you’re done, sit for a few moments in the centre of your world, then open your eyes.
You can do this in a few minutes once you’ve practised it. And don’t be surprised if people’s positions shift over time - relationships change, and so do you.
