Based in St Albans, we’re a friendly, non-competitive football training club for kids aged 6 to 11 years. At our Saturday morning training sessions, our players improve their ball skills, gain confidence and most importantly, have fun. Many of our players ‘graduate’ to St Albans’ excellent league-based clubs. Our club is proudly parent-run and we provide training all year, excluding school holiday

We’ve been working well to provide great facilities at our new Year 6 site on Normandy Road this year.
First we managed to get top class goals. Today we installed onsite storage.
Many thanks to all the parents that helped with today’s build.

With the FA having suspended grassroots football for the foreseeable future, we have followed their guidance and are also suspended.
This means we won’t be able to run our Saturday morning foodbank collections.
As the post below indicates, the demand is higher than ever. If you’d like to help while we’re off you can make a financial donation via the link here or donate food following the advice in the post below.

Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone at VPFC

For the last couple of weeks VPFC has been collecting for the St Albans District Foodbank.
Massive thanks to everyone that has brought along donations.
With 5 distribution centres across the district there is clearly many locally experiencing food poverty and as a community club we’re keen to keep trying to contribute.
We hope it will become part of the routine, for members who are able, to add a can to drink and snack bags in the morning.
We also invite others in the local community to drop off donations with us from 9:30-11:00 on Saturday mornings, during term time, at Victoria Playing Fields and The Brickie.
