Power is sometimes about how well you transfer force through the body.
Right cross β left hook β right kick.
On the right cross, the power starts from the floor
-foot, hip, core, shoulder, then hand. As the body rotates through the shot, that momentum creates a natural recoil. Instead of stopping dead, we use that βreturnβ to load the left hook.
Then the left hook rotates us back again, loading the hip for the right kick.
Thatβs the science of efficient striking:
force from the ground, rotation through the hips, connection through the core, and smooth transfer from one shot into the next.
Every strike sets up the next one.
Basic technique, but when itβs done properly, this is where real power starts.
