This was the third and final day for Simon and Jake on their long weekend of Sea Kayaking and Camping… The mission was to explore beautiful places, connect with nature and to get to grips with the basic skills as an introduction to the wonderful world of Sea Kayaking. We achieved all of the above and some more, it was an absolute pleasure to share the last few days. And to show off some of the amazing Pembrokeshire Coast.

Day 2 of our intro to Sea kayaking weekend was nothing short of stunning… With strong winds forecast, we headed north to seek shelter from the choppy waters whisked up by the local wind. This is a beautiful stretch of coast to explore, with a real feeling of remoteness and solitude. After lunch and indulging in a quick stone skimming competition, we headed out into the windy bit to sail home, and to get a feel for paddling in windy waters. Another beautiful day on the water shared.

What a fantastic first day of our Intro to Sea Kayaking weekend… The sea was charged with energy during the morning, making for some pretty bouncy water in places. After lunch the sun came out and the sea calmed a little, allowing us to get a bit closer to the Coastline and explore some of the more intricate details of this stunning stretch of Coast.

Family fun in the sun this afternoon… Lots of jumping and squealing our way around the Pembrokeshire Coast with the Trowbridge family and Friends. We talked about not being overly keen on the jumping element of Coasteering, though there was little evidence of this once we got into the swing of things.

Lovely afternoon for a paddle out exploring the Pembrokeshire coast today… Eleri and Betsi returning from a trip we did together last year. It would have been wrong not to stop for a quick swim and a couple of jumps to cool off on such a beautifully warm afternoon.

The summer would not be summer without our annual visit from the Rattray family… This is our seventh consecutive year of shared adventure; Jasper was just 8 on his first visit and now taller than his dad. It is always a pleasure to share some time with these lovely people. This year we have stepped away from the usual Coasteering escapades and entered into the magical world of exploring our coastline by Kayak.

We had a lovely paddle out exploring the Pembrokeshire coast with the Brighton Jones family this morning… It appears we have reached that time of year when the sun takes a little time to get high in the sky, giving us a more reflective light with moody silhouettes and golden waters. The very beginning of the beautiful transition from summer to Autumn.
