5 wins out of 5 for FC St Helens u15s Celtic as they put 5 goals past Crossfield Galaxy in a 5 star performance at Windleshaw Road 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
FC St Helens dominated the game early on until Crossfield snatched a goal with a swift counter attack against the run of play to give them a 1-0 lead.
FC St Helens stuck to their task and kept their heads and it wasn't long before they clicked into gear. A wonderful run and finish from Brin made the game all square and then a lovely cushioned finish from JJ gave FC St Helens a 2-1 lead. Brin then tucked away the third from the penalty spot after he was brought down by a clumsy challenge.
3-1 at half time.
FC St Helens then played out a comfortable second half where they controlled the game and always looked like they had an extra gear if needed.
Another great finish from Brin and a neat finish from Jake made it 5-1.
Top of the league with a 100% record. Perfect start to the season 👌
Man of the match today went to Josh for his 3 assists. He was a constant thorn in the side of the Crossfield right back who will probably want to hang up his boots after this match against Josh. And also to JJ for a lovely goal and a great assist. Well done lads 👏🏻

Mary Ann Meadows has become a bit of a bogey ground for FC St Helens u15s Celtic over recent years but not today after a thrilling 4-2 win over Cromwell Thunderbolts.
FC St Helens looked dangerous early on with some swift attacks, whilst the centre backs managed to deal with a 6 foot Cromwell striker who was proving to be a handful.
The breakthrough was made after 15 mins when Waggy threaded a pass through to Brin who finished in style.
Euan then stepped up to make a string of great saves including keeping out a penalty to keep the scores at 1-0.
Brin then assisted Waggy to make it 2-0 at the half time break.
The second half was a tense affair but FC St Helens didn't stop battling. Cromwell snatched a goal back after a miskick from Euan but Waggy restored the 2 goal cushion after tucking away a corner floated in by Callum a short time later.
Cromwell refused to lie down and got a goal back to make in 3-2 before Waggy smashed a rocket into the top corner from the edge of the box to make it 4-2. A great goal to get his hat trick and a proper captains performance.
So many excellent performances today but man of the match went to Waggy for his 3 goals, Connor for another outstanding game, and to Euan for his heroics in the first half.
Great game and a great result 💪🏼

FC St Helens 15s Celtic kept up their 100% start to the season with a 4-1 over Ashton Park.
FC St Helens were on top for most of the first half but failed to make a breakthrough and the first half ended 0-0.
Second half was more of the same until Ashton Park took a 1-0 lead with a swift counter attack.
This seemed to spark FC St Helens into life and Brin got the equaliser with about 20 minutes to go after a lovely through ball from Waggy.
Josh set Brin up to make it 2-1 and then he set Mike up to make it 3-1.
Brin then got his hat trick after another through ball from Waggy to make it 4-1.
The game ended in chaos as a nasty tackle from an Ashton player went unpunished by the referee, which led to James taking matters into his own hands and receiving a red card. By this time the game was well over as a contest and the final whistle came shortly afterwards.
MOTM today went to Brin for another 3 goals making him the top scorer in the league and to Sam for his tireless work rate and battling performance in the midfield.
Well done lads 👏👏👏

2 wins out of 2 for FC St Helens u15s Celtic as they beat Woolston Falcons 4-1.
It was backs to the wall for FC St Helens as Woolston dominated the early stages. A string of heroic saves from Euan kept the scores at 0-0 in a tough fought game.
FC St Helens made the breakthrough against the run of play after about 30 minutes when Jake curled one into the top corner. Brilliant goal 👏
Woolston managed to equalise in the second half and it was game on again.
A great touch and a neat finish from Waggy made it 2-1 and then a brilliant solo goal from Josh made it 3-1.
The game was over as a contest when a Woolston defender was shown a staight red after tensions boiled over a short time from the whistle.
Another goal from Brin added some icing to the cake after his free kick was deflected into the net by a Woolston player to make it 4-1.
A sold win against a good side 💪🏼
Man of the match this week went to Euan who was brilliant throughout and to Waggy for his impact on the game and a very well taken goal ⚽⚽⚽⚽

Outstanding start to the season for FC St Helens u15s Celtic today as they hammered Western Point 7-0.
St Helens dominated the early stages and Western Point struggled to get out of their own half. The breakthrough came after 20 minutes when Brin scored the first of his four-goal haul.
Connor slotted another one home a few moments later after a brilliant run. First half ended at 2-0
The second half was more of the same with wave after wave of FC St Helens attacks, carving through the Western Point defence like a hot knife through butter.
Another 3 goals from Brin, and a goal from JJ made it 6-0.
With a few minutes left, Josh danced his way past a couple of defenders and was hacked down in the box by a angry defender who had simply had enough of the torment. Josh tucked the penalty away himself to mark an impressive debut with his first goal for the team.
4 goals for Brin, 3 assists for Sam, goals and assists from all over the place and a well earned clean sheet. Defence looked solid throughout 💪
Quality performance from back to front and a great start to the season ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽
