“Tomorrow’s fixture is a special one for me personally, having finished my playing career at Bolton, but tomorrow is all about FC St Helens.
We know it’s been a difficult start, but within this group there’s one word that sums up how we feel: driven.
We’ve played some attractive football and tried to be perfect at times. Now, it’s about doing whatever it takes to get a result. If that means a gritty, determined performance, then I’ll take that all day long.”
