The sunglasses are covering the bags of the last three days, hair scraped back as I’m dealing with that tomorrow! A celebratory meal with my other half (and biggest cheerleader) in my favourite pub after a mega weekend.

Junior Contemporary Team. Your champs debut! You fought the nerves, the moments of uncertainty dancing in a new space on such a large platform. My first ever junior team. So very proud of you all! Our Juniors are currently performing a rework of SMGYDC’s first EVER competitive group dance. Such a special moment to have the torch passed down to the next generation 🥹

Our Acro teams first Championships! After only starting an Acro specific competition team in January I am so proud of how far these guys have come. Ranging in age from 8 to 18 and entering straight into Intermediate due to rules stipulations these guys have worked so hard to bag that vice champion position! From placing 5th in March to 2nd yesterday, that’s a true testament to the hard work of all our team members! Forever proud 🤍

Finally, the team that started this journey for us all. Our Senior team. Waving farewell to Ribs and watching you guys smash it out the park in such a tough section was a special moment. Always keeping authentic to my choreographic voice is a risk, having you guys perform it so beautifully made my front seat viewing a pleasure.

Shout outs to ._8359 and .12 for joining us at their first Champs. You guys have rocked it this season. So excited for the future!

A bittersweet moment for our graduating dancers who will be hanging up their competitive boots as they embark on their next adventure into adulthood and - more to come on this one. I love you both dearly. 🥺

Special mentions have to go to team members making their competition debut with us Ava (.bradshaw) and ( ) ✨ What an achievement for you both to learn team choreography in such a short space of time whilst getting to know our girls! You guys did such a fantastic job! Excited for the future with you both! 🤍
