Wasn’t the result we wanted today but I couldn’t be any prouder of all of these lads this season. We’ve had some amazing moments, some world class goals and saves, ruthless tackles and expert passing. It’s been a pleasure to watch them grow up and grow closer as a team. We go again next season ⚽️⚪️🔴🌟

What a win today - to come from 2-0 down at half time to get the win in the last minute 💪🏽 determined to give all us parents and the coach a heart attack!!! Come on the reds, 3 more games and the league is ours ⚪️🔴⚽️

Weather on shuffle this morning for our away game at Irlam. The lads were pelted with hailstones before kick off but put away an early goal to go ahead. A few silly mistakes left us down at half time. However after a convincing display from a few substitutes and a pep talk from the coaches we were able to regain the lead. Another wonder strike from Ethan and 2 lovely tap ins from Tobias and Freddie late second half kept us on top. Should have been more but we will take the 5-3 win ⚪️🔴💪🏽. Coaches motm for our Captain Isaac E, back to his best. Parents motm for Josh Davies for his runs down the wing.

A bright start for today’s game hosting Lymm at home. After a strong start we were unfortunate to go 1-0 down but with Curtis’ cheeky goal toward the end of the first half it was all level at the break. The second half was an end to end battle, constantly trying to level things up, we got to 2-2. Concentration wavered and we found ourselves behind by 2 goals. The coaches rallied the team and switched some positions and we were treated to 2 fantastic long range goals by our own Ethan O’Hanlon. A hard fought and well deserved draw at the end.

What a day for the lads Gareth Carson 💪🏽

A late start and hot weather today for the last match of the season for the Under 11s Athletics this morning at home against Moore United FC. The first 20 mins was a slow start, the lads took a while to wake up but still managed to ease a goal past the keeper, however an equaliser quickly followed. We didn’t allow this to phase us and Curtis, assisted by the Skipper quickly sunk his 3rd hat trick in as many matches and another cheeky one for good measure before half time.
Going into the second half with a comfortable lead, Coach had some fun with putting the boys in different positions. A free kick on the right allowed CB Freddie to stick one between the keepers legs! The boys really started to relax on the ball and have fun with the game. A well deserved goal from Captain Isaac came through. If that wasn’t enough, a movement of the team around allowed Freddie to sink a second goal a few minutes before the final whistle. Outstanding play from all the Reds today! Parents Motm went to Jacob and coaches went to our Captain! What a game to end the season on!⚪️🔴⚽️💪🏽

Late kick off for under 11s athletics today away at Billinge. The lads were all up for it this morning and focused on getting a win. The first half, the reds truly dominated the game, passing accuracy, composure on the ball and utilising the space allowed us to take a lead. We commanded the possession through the first half and a clean sheet from Jack in net & phenomenally accurate second volley into top corner from striker Curtis allowed us to lead at the break. Second half began and a few changes were made, Ethan going in net and making some saves that Spider-Man would have been proud of. A small mistake allowed the opposition to claw one back but the Reds were strong and continued the fight allowing Curtis his second hat-trick in as many weeks. A couple of close attempts from the corner flag almost allowed us to run away with the win at the end. But a well executed game by all the lads allowed us to come away victorious! Parents Motm went to Nathan for midfield excellence and Coaches Motm went to Curtis for his finishes! We go again next week 💪🏽⚽️🔴⚪️
