On Sunday 30th August, we are proud to be holding a fund raising day, all in aid of Prostate Cancer.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, with over 52,000 cases diagnosed every year. Roughly 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. Early-stage prostate cancer usually has no symptoms, making awareness and risk factor understanding vital for early detection.

Tonight’s game was all about fun and trying new things out. We certainly achieved that with lots of smiles on faces and lots of position rotations. We’ve a great squad of players that worked their socks off throughout the game.

This player has spent this season mainly on the sidelines due to multiple injuries. Always turns up to support his team in training and games. It was lovely to see him back on the pitch doing what he loves. He worked hard and had push through the pain barrier to keep up with the pace of the game but didn’t miss a tackle and put a shift in on return.

these players played in different roles tonight to try something new and equally have more opportunities on the ball. They stood up to the challenge and delivered great passes throughout the game and also was great at running onto the ball. There was also a hunger from the players to win the collision and was excellent in defence.

Team performance and the coaches could have handed awards to the full team as they all adapted to change so well and performed.

From the first whistle to the very last play, every player pulled on that black and red shirt with pride, determination and heart. When things got tough, the lads stuck together, kept battling and never stopped working for each other.

Results don’t always tell the full story. Today’s game was another opportunity to learn, improve and grow as a team, and the character shown by every single player was there for all to see.
