On Sunday 30th August, we are proud to be holding a fund raising day, all in aid of Prostate Cancer.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, with ov6er 52,000 cases diagnosed every year. Roughly 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. Early-stage prostate cancer usually has no symptoms, making awareness and risk factor understanding vital for early detection.

On the day we have teamed up with our local neighbours Blackbrook, where a number of age groups from Masters, down to the juniors will be facing off, both boys and girls.

We are putting a Masters team together for a Charity game at Thatto Heath on The 30th of August.
It's to raise funds for Prostrate Cancer. Blackbrook legend Billy Woods who is the Father of Thatto Coach Mike Woods has been diagnosed with the horrible disease.
If you wish to get involved please let us know in the comments below. It will be great to get as many players involved as we can.

Looking for something to listen to tonight, join Cliffe from 90.1 Hope FM at 7pm where he will be speaking to no other than Alan Hill the Bournemouth RL Vice Chairman and author.
Alan will be live in the studio to talk about his love of rugby, especially rugby league, talk about his fascinating book A Boy called Arsenal and be choosing his six-of-the-best favourite tunes.
Alan is a former Brooker and now an author amongst other things.
Should be well worth a listen
