Tonight was the last week of the July & August gold comp. It’s been a tricky month with lots of people on holiday which is why we put the two months together. Well done to everyone who’s been attending. Congratulations to Harry who has won the competition this time and moves up to platinum winning the trophy and £25. Well done to Kian who was the runner-up in a close run contest with Jamie Lee who only joined us from silver this time - Kian just managed to scrape the win by one point to get runner-up winning £15 and moving to platinum for September.
Good luck to everybody for the next month, as I (Alison) am unable to attend - Danny and Sally will be running the group for September.
Don’t forget no darts Academy next week as it’s bank holiday Monday - see everyone on the 7th of September.

Only 9 entries in gold group tonight so we played a fun doubles comp aswell as the (very few) games for the main tournament. Well done to Harry & Joe who won the doubles comp beating Jamie-Lee & Danny (who stepped up from helping to run the comp to make up the numbers). Well done all.
