Ladies Section

After all the rain Monday evening and yesterday, the conditions underfoot were a lot better than we expected today and Kirstie Mackenzie won this months bottle of gin, Sea Glass, kindly sponsored by Deerness Distillery.

Results from Round 12 and final round of our F9 Stableford League for the 2026 season can be seen below. We had 5 gents enter and the winner this week is Derek Ward Jnr on 19 points🏌️👏👏

Final Round of the 2026 Mens F9 Stableford League is on this Wednesday

This morning 9 gents teed it up for the final monthly medal of the 2026 season, our September Medal. We coupled this with our Captains Prize competition since we're fast approaching the end of the summer season and available dates are getting hard to find.

So, finishing in top spot and making it a hat trick of medal wins this season was Clive "Munro the Merciless" who carded a Nett 63, and scooped other of the Visitor Experiences for Two at the Highland Park Distillery. Well played again Clive🥇👏🥃🥃

Clive also won the Captains Prize with 42 Stableford points closely followed (I'll use the term loosely) by Derek Ward Jnr and Glenn Grange on 35 points with Angus Thompson on 33 points. A very successful day for Clive 🏆🏌🏽

Thank you once again to Highland Park for their generosity by providing prizes for the medals throughout the summer season. Clive will be a regular visitor 😄

Please note that due to the sketchy forecast this Saturday we've decided to change the final monthly medal of the season to Sunday 13th instead, hopefully we can all enjoy some sunshine and lighter winds.

The 18H Stableford comp that was schedule for Sunday has been moved to Saturday for the hardy golfers who want to get some practice in for the start of winter golf 🤣🤣
