89th 🇬🇧 38th 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 We decided to make the journey to Braodstone golf club to play its amazing heathland course travelling down and returning on the same day to Manchester. We covered over 500 miles and it was a 14 hour round trip with lunch and of course five guys on the way home.

We’d heard a lot of good reports about Broadstone so making this trip was an easy decision and the course lived up to all expectations. Conditions were perfect with the hot summer we’ve been having and the course played firm and fast, in fact it was that dry there was a smoking ban on the property.

The course offers a strong test on land that isn’t flat, there is a few good walks between holes and for that reason we were glad of taking a buggy. The views from the back 9 are fantastic looking out over Purbeck Hills and Poole Harbour.

The Par 3s are all exceptional my favourite being hole 6 to the raised green and have to say I was blown away by the back 9, not to take anything from the front 9 as some seriously good holes there to.

Broadstone are now offering a Twighlight rate of half price only £80 to play this absolute gem.

My question to instagram??? Will anyone make a bigger journey than we did all in a day, the bar is now set and the course is waiting…

new course opening tee shot puts you to the test from the word go, you have to be committed around here or it will eat you alive. I recon the average club golfer would need a dozen balls minimum just to get round and survive…
