To every single one of you who came on this trip we want to thank you for such a brilliant time. This trip was beyond anything we could have expected and that’s all thanks to you!

We had wacky costumes, excellent skiing + boarding from both experienced goers and learners, floor licking, 🍑’s set on fire, the pope✝️?, valley rally’s, dj sets, aprés, kangaroo court, broken limbs, dancing, drinking, you name it🙂‍↕️

COMMITTEE ROLES FOR 2025/2026 😉😉

First steps : make a poster outlining why you should be chosen for the role, and post in the members chat and on your story (make sure to tag )

‼️PRESIDENT, SOCIAL SEC and TREASURE you will also need to nominate yourself on the SU website
- deadline to nominate yourself is 00:00 on Thursday ( you don’t need your poster by this stage though)‼️

The current committee will post our posters in the members chat for guidance!

Our AGM date is not yet confirmed but it will be the first week of term- for this you will have to prepare a 2-3 minute speech to preform in front of everyone 🔥

Announcing some exciting news that we are going to AJAM 🔥

We are still working on transport but we are expecting the tickets to cost between £100-£130 ‼️

❄️This includes one night accommodation, entrance to the competition, coach transport there and home❄️

Whether you want to compete or spectate this event is promised to be worth it 😉

KINGS TIME BABYYYY 🏂🏂

The time has arrived ladies and gents, we will be heading to Silksworth ski center on SATURDAY 23RD NOVEMBER. We’ll be competing against the other northern unis in a race down the slopes all day 🤪

Not to worry if you’re not competing, Kings events are as much about the drinking as the racing, so come along and support the team!!! Spectators fee: £10 (includes transport there and back)

A rowdy bus will be departing from outside Peel Park Lowry at 11:30am. The event will last all day so expect to be back in Salford late ⏱️

You’ll need:
Warm clothes and enough tinnies to see ya through the day xx
