As most teams know me and palmer have now had our last night as owners of Leisure League Salford. What started as an idea to bring small sided football to the city we grew up turned into a 5 year rollercoaster of ups and downs. We have met some amazing people through the years and most of you will be missed. So thank you to every player who turn up to any league we set up, it was genuinely a pleasure to have you spend your evenings with us, whether it was a couple of week spell or a team who spent years with us like Unreal Madrid, La Bamba, Salford Allsorts or Blackley fc. The New owner has some great ideas and I can’t wait to see the area grow. But from us it’s over and out, it’s been an honour.

In the Premier League, we saw a gripping contest between Burnt Kebabs and Occasionally United. In a tight battle that had spectators on the edge of their seats, Occasionally United emerged victorious, edging past Burnt Kebabs with a 4-3 scoreline. It was a gritty performance from both teams.

Meanwhile, Salford Allsorts FC clashed with FC Lions in an equally captivating match. FC Lions roared to a 4-1 victory, demonstrating offensive prowess and a stout defense.

On the Division 1 front, Bolton Wobblers and Six Offenders locked horns in a fierce battle. Six Offenders managed to sn**ch a narrow victory, defeating Bolton Wobblers 4-3.

In contrast, the match between Unreal Madrid and Shmurda Bandits FC saw the Bandits proving their might with a 3-1 win.

In the Premier League division, FC Lions roared to a decisive 4-0 victory over Dover Rovers. The Lions displayed a dominant performance, demonstrating why they are a force to be reckoned with. Occasionally United showed no signs of slowing down this season, with a 5-1 triumph over Salford Allsorts FC. The Allsorts FC could not keep up with the pace and creativity of Occasionally United, who put up a spectacular performance.

Over in Division 1, it was a nail-biting affair as Manchester FC narrowly lost to Bolton Wobblers in a 7-goal thriller, ending 4-3. Bolton Wobblers’ Adam Fletcher stole the show, netting an impressive hat-trick that saw him rise to the top of the division’s goal-scoring charts for this week.

Meanwhile, La Bamba FC outplayed Shmurda Bandits FC with a 4-1 win, demonstrating their technical prowess and teamwork. In another close match, Six Offenders were narrowly defeated 3-2 by Unreal Madrid, in what was a fiercely competitive game that kept spectators on edge throughout.

These results have stirred the pot in both divisions, providing fans with a tantalising prospect of what lies ahead as we approach the mid-season mark. With top scorers leading their teams from the front, the coming weeks promise more exciting football action in the Salford Sunday league.
