It is with a heavy heart we share the news that Chris Carney has sadly passed.

Chris was a positive influence and always supportive of all our members wanting only the best for all the kids in Salford.

The thoughts and condolences of everyone from our club, past and present, are with Janet and the family.
A true Salford Legend and a proper gentleman!

We are excited to announce that we are in the process of forming a brand new U7 team for children in school years 1 and 2.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the young ones to get involved in the sport, learn new skills, and most importantly, have fun!

Last week our U13 team were invited along to experience the football, fun and games at the world famous Salford Lads Club .

We were chaperoned on a guided tour of the site discussing the history of the club, the building and some of its famous members, touching on the huge amount of Salfordians that have attended the yearly camping trips and passed through those iconic doors!

As you can see from the pictures, everyone had a great time enjoying the football and still found time to experience the games room, playing pool and table football along with the gaming consoles, before filling up at the tuck shop with snacks.

We would like to thank all the volunteers at Salford Lads & Girls Club FC for their time and show our appreciation for the effort made to welcome us all, especially Leon for organising a great night for the children (and adults), we can't wait to visit again!

We have a story to share...

A decade ago two gentlemen decided to Co-found a Joint venture, SALBOY was formed which has grown to become an award winning company at the forefront of property development in prime locations throughout the United Kingdom with a 10 year proven track record, renowned for creating world-class places that leave a lasting impression.

At the same time across Salford, another two gentlemen decided to Co-found a junior football club for children, KERSAL FC was formed which has grown to become an award winning volunteer led community Club, at the forefront of grassroots football for children in Salford and its surrounding area's, with a 10 year proven track record for providing a safe and fun environment within our community for children to enjoy learning the sport we all love.

Everything we do is in effort to provide local children with the best experience possible of junior football through structured training sessions delivered by FA qualified coaches and weekly competitive matches via the various leagues our teams are affiliated to.

10 years of consistent growth is an achievement we both celebrate together through our existing partnership and SALBOY have decided to begin the celebrations for our club by providing for all the players in the form of the fantastic bespoke anniversary kits pictured, with a one of a kind custom design highlighting our shared anniversary.

We would like to show our appreciation to Salboy on behalf of our players, their parents and our volunteers for the continued support for our club, hoping our story may continue for the next decade too!!
