1 men's and 1 women's teams play Wednesday BUCS fixtures and 1 men's and 1 women's team play Saturday North West Hockey League throughout the year, as well as taking part in the whole university competition varsity against Chester University in March. There's also the opportunity to play in a mixed

If you’re planning on playing competitive hockey at Salford this year but twice a week isn’t enough… join City Of Manchester Hockey Club 🏑💚
A lot of our students play for both teams, so you can easily balance uni hockey with club hockey!
Pre-season training with COM has already started 👀 If you don’t want to wait for uni hockey to start and want to get on the pitch sooner, message us and we’ll connect you with our current students so you can come along to a session!

• COM hockey: Training Thursdays | Matches Saturdays

VARSITY 2026💙🩵
Here’s how both our teams lineup for this year’s varsity. Two great games inbound as both of our teams make the journey to Chester with the hopes of securing two crucial points for the University.
