Sun’s out… but let’s be honest, it’s the UK — it won’t last 😅
We’ve still got a few of our Four5’s hoodies and tees available.
🟥 Hoodies – £45
⬛ T-shirts – now £20
Perfect for when the weather inevitably turns again (which it will… probably by next week).
Big shoutout to our mate repping the kit out in the Austrian pre-Alps 🇦🇹 — not a bad backdrop 👊🏻
If you want one, just ask behind the desk. We also have limited stock left of our new No-Gi sets.
First come, first served.

A bit of fun to finish off our last juniors-to-teens class 🥋🐣
We ran a little in-house “King of the Mat” competition, splitting the room into under 12s and over 12s brackets, with an Easter egg and a hat up for grabs.
Jay took the win in the under 12s 👑 — shared the Easter egg with his brother and kept the hat for himself. Fair trade if you ask us!
Max (not pictured) took the win in the under 15s 💪
Great effort from everyone on the mats — love seeing the competitiveness and team spirit coming through.
Well done lads 👊
Dear sir, madam… or my personal favourite… “Hi.”
Anyone else getting absolutely hounded every single day by messages from companies trying to sell no-gi gear, gis, boxing gloves, MMA equipment… all from halfway across the world?
They start with “Dear friend” like we’ve been through something together, or just drop a casual “Hi” and wait… as if I’m about to jump in like “Yes mate, been waiting for you.”
Leave me alone……. I’ve already got people I trust.
We get our kit from three solid companies:
fortitude.bjj – known them a long time, great people, top quality kit.
– same again, brilliant people, solid and reliable gear.
– literally in the same postcode, couldn’t be closer if they tried.
I respect all three of them. I know what I’m getting, I’ve seen it, used it, and built relationships there.
And for me personally… all my own kit is .
I’m not about to start ordering gear from someone I’ve never met, never seen, and who opened with “Hi.”
Anyone else dealing with this daily flood of messages? 😅
Last kids class before Easter and things got a little wild 🐣🐰
The Easter Bunny paid us a visit and turned training into a game the kids absolutely loved…
🏃♂️ One egg? Sprint back and drop it in the box
😅 No eggs? The whole team hits 5 press-ups
😂 Two eggs? You get to pick Coach Paul or Coach Frank to take on 10 press-ups
Safe to say… the coaches got stitched up a few times!
We like to mix things up every now and again—keeping it fun, high energy, and making sure the kids stay active while learning. That balance is what it’s all about.
Our 5–7 year old class (this group) has very limited spaces because we keep the instructor-to-kids ratio high 👊🏻
Our 8–15 year old class is bigger and growing fast 🚀
If you’d like your child to get involved, head over to www.salfordbjj.co.uk or click the link in our bio to register your interest.
👉 Just let us know which class you’re enquiring about!
