YDL match 2 in Carlisle
A very special day.
With strong performances throughout the day and the best support from the side lines from parents, club officials and each other our junior team made their presence very clear.
New faces on the team stepping up after only afew weeks and the same reliable core athletes showing them the ropes, new friendships formed and memories made.
The results really don’t matter today as we take away so many incredible moments.
With a very small boys team in both age groups we still managed a team 4th in this new division of clubs loaded with talent, lack of numbers let us down on the day which is very disappointing, (we know we had school holidays and other commitments) however the athletes that were able to show up for us pulled huge performances out of the bag to keep us in contention as we approach match 3 out of the 4.

The Greater Manchester run was again a great event with our very own Belinda Bee doubling up as the mascot for Moya Cole hospice end of life care.

Some big pbs, a fabulous debut from U18 Rudolf and young athletes trying new events. Nice to see JB comming back from injury.

Team manager Sarah and our head offical Debbie looked after 36 of our juniors at last nights Bury mini league.
Our mighty Mets came away with a huge amount of medals, lots of big pbs and first timer competitors made the night a very enjoyable experience.
Well done everyone 💪
The future of our club couldn’t be in better hands, keep showing up and working hard, we hope you all had fun and will be registering for the next round.
