In hospitality design, flooring is often expected to sit quietly in the background.
But the most successful interiors understand that impact doesn’t always come from bold pattern.
Sometimes it’s created through layered colour, tonal variation and carefully balanced woven detail. The kind of design that adds depth, warmth and atmosphere without overwhelming the wider scheme.
It’s an approach that allows flooring to enhance an interior rather than compete with it, helping create spaces that feel timeless, comfortable and considered.
Fibre was designed with exactly this philosophy in mind.
A collection inspired by materiality, craftsmanship and contemporary hospitality interiors, where subtle design choices come together to create lasting impressions.

Not every hospitality interior needs bold patterns to create impact.
Sometimes the most memorable spaces are built through texture, layering and subtle woven detail instead.
Texture has the ability to soften a space, creating warmth, depth and atmosphere without overwhelming the wider interior. Through tonal variation, tactile surfaces and quiet pattern, flooring can help an interior feel calm, refined and timeless rather than visually busy.
Fibre was designed around this idea.
Inspired by woven textiles, raw fibres and natural materials, the collection explores how texture and materiality can shape the feeling of a space just as much as colour or pattern.
Because luxury doesn’t always need to shout.

Designers are becoming far more intentional with flooring specification.
Across hospitality interiors in particular, we’re seeing a shift towards bolder pattern, layered texture and more expressive flooring design… not simply as a practical surface, but as part of the overall atmosphere and identity of a space.
Bold flooring can create rhythm, depth and identity within an interior while still enhancing the wider scheme rather than overpowering it.
The Synergy collection was developed with this balance in mind. Combining fractured geometry, layered woven surfaces and the grounding tones of the Alchemy palette, the collection allows designers to create statement interiors that still feel cohesive, sophisticated and commercially practical.

Behind every great collection is a strong foundation.
For Synergy, that foundation is Alchemy - a carefully curated 16-colour palette designed to bring balance, flexibility and sophistication to commercial interiors.
Blending grounding earthy tones with refined industrial neutrals, Alchemy allows bold patterns and complex designs to feel anchored within a space rather than overwhelming it.
It gives designers the freedom to create statement flooring that still feels timeless, considered and commercially practical.
Because the right palette doesn’t just support a design, it elevates it.

Tufted carpet has never really gone out of style, because it works 👌🏼
It offers the balance many projects need most: comfort, durability, strong value, and design flexibility, all without compromising on quality.
For hotels, restaurants, offices, and residential interiors, tufted carpet remains one of the most practical and versatile flooring choices available.
When made with quality wool-rich yarns and the right construction, tufted carpet performs beautifully in both commercial and domestic spaces, while also supporting sustainability through renewable British wool and responsible manufacturing, something we are incredibly passionate about! 🍃
Sometimes the smartest specification isn’t the most complicated one, it’s the one that works best for the space.
Where do you think tufted carpet performs best: hospitality, residential, or commercial interiors?

A space with history woven into every detail ✨
Beautiful shots of the newly refurbished on Lark Lane!
This Liverpool venue is a fantastic example of how character, heritage and contemporary hospitality design can work beautifully together.
From ironwork reclaimed from Preston railway station to restored church seating, Maranto’s has always been a space built gradually over time, layered with stories, texture and personality.
We were proud to see our Axminster Bergamot design specified throughout the carpeted areas, helping bring warmth, durability and understated luxury into the interior while complementing the rich, eclectic atmosphere the venue is known for.

Quality in carpet isn’t always the thing you notice first... but it’s the thing you notice longest.
The way it wears.
How it handles footfall.
Whether it still looks exceptional years later.
In hospitality and commercial spaces, flooring is one of the hardest-working elements in the building. It needs to perform under pressure while still delivering the right first impression.
That’s why true quality goes far beyond surface appearance. It’s about choosing flooring that supports the space, the experience, and the longevity of the project.
A well-made carpet should feel like an investment, not a replacement waiting to happen.
This week we’re looking at what really makes a carpet high quality, and why the right choice from the beginning makes all the difference.
What do you prioritise most when specifying flooring: performance, longevity, sustainability or design?

Choosing carpet? Start with the room… not the sample 👀
It’s easy to fall in love with a carpet design first, but the smartest flooring decisions always start with how the space needs to perform.
A hotel lobby needs something completely different to a guest bedroom.
A staircase works differently to a private lounge.
Durability, acoustics, comfort, maintenance and design all play a part.
The right carpet not only looks good, it works hard, lasts longer, and saves you money in the long run.
In this carousel, we’re breaking down how to choose the best carpet for every room and why starting with the space, not the swatch book, makes all the difference.
Which space do you find hardest to specify: stairs, bedrooms, corridors or reception areas?
