Staying cool in the shade at Gillingham Primary School this afternoon with some parachute fun and throwing challenges!
Well done to the children at our after school club for showing so much enthusiasm despite the heat!
Although we couldn't do our usual class with lots of running around, the children still developed their coordination, teamwork and throwing skills while having plenty of fun! 😎
There’s nothing quite like seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they experience Mini Athletics for the very first time! 🧡

Perfect weather for a trip to the seaside, with lots of beach-themed games and races! 🍦🦀

Lots of seaside fun in Cale Park this morning! 🌊🐚🦀
Our mini athletes had a great time building a giant ice cream, dodging the naughty seagull and putting sprinkles on top! 🍦🏃♂️
We also raced like a jellyfish, side stepped like a crab and leapt like fish!
Our oldest mini athletes even had a game of crazy golf! ⛳
We love using imagination at Mini Athletics... It makes sport super fun for little people, keeping them engaged and wanting more!

It's certificate time AGAIN for this brilliant mini athlete who has just finished sticker book number two! 🏆
A massive well done to Sylvan who has been attending classes with Coach Jake in Warminster since launch day 15 months ago! 😀
Jake is very proud of Sylvan, who is potentially our most enthusiastic and energetic mini athlete EVER!
Jake said: "Sylvan has amazing problem solving skills, shows an amazing ability to have as much fun as possible and he’s always got the biggest smile on his face!
"He has done amazingly to earn his second certificate and I’m really proud of him."
A pre school teacher joked to me today: "Please can we borrow you for the afternoon! The children haven't been listening all morning, but now you're here, they are!"
Give children an adventure and they'll happily come along for the ride! Children love using their imaginations and today they were completely immersed in an imaginary pirate world! 🏴☠️🦜

Sports Day ready! 🏃♀️🌟
There's something so special about School Sports Day – the excitement of seeing family members cheering, celebrating with friends and feeling proud of yourself for giving it your best.
At Mini Athletics, we help children build the skills that make days like this even more enjoyable. Through fun, age-appropriate activities, they develop coordination, balance, running, jumping and throwing skills—while also growing in confidence, resilience and a willingness to have a go.
It's never about being the fastest or coming first. It's about feeling confident enough to join in, trying their best and leaving with a smile on their face. ❤️
Good luck to all our mini athletes taking part in Sports Day this year... Lucy, Jake and I can't wait to hear all about it! 🌈🏅

Lots more mythical adventures in Salisbury and Warminster this morning! 🦄🐲
A big thank you to Coach Lucy and Coach Jake for bringing so much fun to Sunday mornings.
It was lovely to receive this message from the mum of a mini athlete whose last class in Salisbury was today: "Our son has absolutely loved coming to Mini Athletics. He has had so much fun, enjoyed all the games and activities and always looked forward to his sessions.
"We are very grateful to Lucy for creating such a positive and enjoyable experience for him."
It's always the best feeling to receive messages like this... Well done Lucy!

Our mini athletes stepped into a magical mythical world at Mini Athletics in Cale Park this morning! 🌈🦄🐉
Together we built rainbows, galloped like unicorns, soared through the sky like dragons, and even breathed dragon fire to rescue trapped unicorns!
It was a fantastic morning filled with imagination, adventure and plenty of movement. We ran, jumped, threw, explored and most importantly, had so much fun!
After the scorching heat this week, it was wonderful to be back enjoying the outdoors without melting into a puddle! ☀️➡️🌤️
We can't wait for our next adventure!
