Shrewton Running Club

ENDURE24 - 304km bagged by this fab bunch!! Camping in high winds and rain wasn’t necessarily what we signed up for but hey! We had a mix of Emdure veterans and absolute beginners. Everyone rose to the challenge. We came, we camped, we laughed, we ran and most importantly of all - we smiled! An excellent weekend of camaraderie 💚

It was also an extra special day for these two SRC stars - today Cheryl hit her 50th parkrun volunteer milestone and Darrell hit his 100th!! Amazing!

As we all know parkrun relies on its volunteers to make it happen - well done and thank you both of you! 💚

WHAT A MORNING!!

We had a fabulous turnout at parkrun this morning for a very special day - the SRC Couch to 5k Graduation!

A huge well done to this year’s graduates - Margaret, Gillian, Vicky, Rachel, Sue and Andy - you all were absolutely fantastic today and all your hard work over these past weeks paid off! Finish line smiles! Well done everyone 🤩

A huge thank you to Jason and Jules for running the programme, to all our members who have supported in the training and to everyone who turned up today to help and support each other!

Well it is ‘Medal Monday’ and who better to celebrate than Donald!

Donald ran the Bath and Bristol Railway Marathon yesterday. A marathon is an amazing achievement anyway, but what you might not know is that Donald took up running less than a year ago!

Incredible! Congratulations and well done 👏🏼
