It will be English Lacrosse and Israel Lacrosse in the Gold Medal Match of the 2016 European Lacrosse Championship on Saturday at 5pm! Finnish National Lacrosse Teams takes on Wales National Lacrosse Team in the Bronze (time TBD).

Other big placement games tomorrow include:
DLaxV - Deutscher Lacrosse Verband e.V. vs Swiss Lacrosse Federation - 5th place match at 5:30pm
Lacrosse Scotland vs Men's Dutch National Team Lacrosse - 7th place match at 5:45pm

England team pays £4,000 each to defend their Euro title Unlike our football flops England's Lacrosse champions book time off work and fork out themselves to play for their country

Last summer session with another big turn out. Plenty of volunteers to get the club to the next stage. More lacrosse in September looks likely , well done everybody .

Wall Post Hey guys,

So bath have a training on 2pm - 4pm this sunday.

I suggest we meet at the salisbury & south wiltshire sports club (hockey club) about 1pm. Organise rides then head off.

So far after 2 sessions we have had 77 people turn up to run around and play some Lacrosse.
The sessions have been a real mixture of young and old (er) beginners and experienced.
We all now know how to play Lacrosse "stuck in the mud" and "chase the bacon"
In just two sessions the catching relay went from 3 catches to 20 , fantastic.

Looking forward to session 3 and we'll bring the camera 😀

We have booked a 6 week "come and try" programme starting on Wednesday 15th June.
WASP has agreed to fund this, so there is no cost, and English Lacrosse in conjunction with Bath Lacrosse Club will provide playing equipment and coaches.

All ages, all skills, boys and girls, men and women are welcome.

This is an exciting development and will hopefully lead to the reformation of the Salisbury Lacrosse club.

Kit: Stuff to run about in, gumshield is advised.

Make sure you bring some water as it will probably be warm.

Fantastic meeting, nearly 20 people of all ages interested in restarting the lacrosse club :) Next step, some regular sessions after half term....watch this space :)

Wiltshire and Swindon Sport (WASP) responsible for Salisbury have arranged a room for a meeting with ANYONE that is interested in playing Lacrosse for a club in Salisbury.
If (and there appears to be) there is enough interest, we can make a plan of action to redevelop the club and one day enter some competitions,

Venue: Bishop Wordsworth's School (11 The Close, Salisbury SP1 2ED)
Classroom above the Sports Hall.
