The team travel to Farley CC this weekend looking to bounce back after last weekends loss! 🏏 🦡

A fixture that has produced some brilliant games over the years and certainly one we look forward to every time it comes around! Come down and enjoy the sun with a cold cider and proper village cricket on display! 🦡

Berwick St James take the victory in the T20 League!

After a rare toss win skipper D.Down elected to have a bowl, Berwick got off to a good start finding plenty of boundaries but some disciplined bowling slowed the run rate down with the visitors finishing on 151-5.

Unfortunately the Badger’s chase never really got going with early wickets lost and batsmen struggling to find any rythym against a good bowling attack. Thankfully the tail wagged to reach triple figures with N.Hall, L.Bird and P.Thwaites adding some runs towards the end of the innings.

Attention turns back to Saturday as we welcome Dinton CC to the sett. 🦡 🏏

The Badgers are back in T20 action tomorrow as we welcome Berwick St James to Broadchalke. The team are looking to build some momentum in the Wednesday league following last weeks win away at Steeple Langford! 🏏 🦡

One eye on the weather for tomorrows game as the rain looks to spoil the fun! Our team to hopefully face Damerham CC! 🦡 🏏

Badgers win on Wednesday! 🦡 🏏

With plenty of rain the team were unsure whether any cricket would be played at all, let alone enough to get a game in! Luckily things started to dry up and after another lost toss Steeple Langford elected to bat first. The Langford opener wouldn’t have looked out of place in the IPL after he smashed a quick 50 in the opening few overs, luckily the bowlers manage to slow the run rate down and take wickets leaving Steeple Langford 144-9 off their 20 overs.

Badgers lost some early wickets but a strong partnership from G.Sankaran (34) and W.Savage (31*) helped bring the chase home in the final over.

Eyes are once again on the weather as we travel to Damerham CC tomorrow. ☔️ 🏏
