What a brilliant evening at Centaur HQ!

A huge thank you to for delivering an outstanding guard passing seminar. From fundamental concepts to a variety of effective passing sequences, there was something for everyone to take away and add to their game.

A big thank you as well to everyone who came along and made it such a great session. The energy in the room was fantastic, and it’s always great to see so many people committed to learning and improving together.

It was also a pleasure to welcome Ross Taylor and .janelee to the mats – thanks for joining us!

We’re proud to keep bringing opportunities like this to our team and the wider BJJ community, and we can’t wait for the next one.

Huge congratulations to Saskia, Ollie, Lachlan and Ethan, who represented Team Centaur at Coastal Combat Festival this weekend!

A massive shout-out to Lachlan and Ethan for bringing home the wins. Lachlan wasted absolutely no time, securing a submission in just 14 seconds, while Ethan put on a composed performance to earn a unanimous decision victory. Outstanding work from both of you!

A huge well done also goes to Saskia and Ollie, who both stepped up to face opponents with higher belts and significantly more experience. Win or lose, that willingness to test yourselves against tough competition is exactly what helps you grow, and we’re incredibly proud of the performances you both put in.

A big thank you to Steve Hollister and Jacob Mcleman for making the journey to corner and coach the team. Your support, guidance and belief in our athletes make all the difference.

And finally, congratulations to Combat Athletics Academy for also taking home two wins on today’s show. Great performances all round!

We’re opening the mats for a day of K1 • BJJ • MMA, and everyone is welcome—whether you’re a complete beginner, experienced martial artist, or just want to come along and support an incredible young athlete.

Our fundraising open mat is in aid of Ethan Stewart 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇩🇲 - who has been selected to represent England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 at the IMMAF Youth World Championships in Abu Dhabi!

Representing your country is an incredible achievement, but it comes with significant travel and competition costs. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Ethan get one step closer to competing on the world stage.

Huge congratulations to Harper and Noah from our Centaur BJJ Kids Team, who represented the club brilliantly at yesterday’s event in Cardiff!

A special shoutout to Harper, who put in an incredible performance and brought home double gold! 🥇🥇 What an outstanding achievement!

And a massive well done to Noah, who fought with heart and determination, narrowly missing out on the podium. Your hard work, resilience, and courage on the mats make everyone at Centaur incredibly proud.
